Building Respectful Relationships in Nature

Mother Earth's Children Preschool is a nature-explore preschool program that fosters the development of respectful relationships, connects children with nature, and allows children opportunities and space to develop their whole selves. Serving children ages 2-6, we are a child-centered, play-based nature school that encourages children to be self-motivated learners and facilitates the building of a positive relationship with the people, animals, and earth around us. We spend a portion of our week in local nature spaces, and the rest of our week is spent in our vast outdoor classroom located in our home-based preschool facility. Teachers connect children to a beautiful and stimulating environment with opportunities for exploration through nature, art, math, science, music, language, dramatic play, large motor, and sensory experiences, both at our school site as well as on off-site nature explore days.
